A wedding gift for organ virtuoso Gert van Hoef and his bride Marjolein

Organist Gert van Hoef and his new bride.
The Dutch organist Gert van Hoef married Marjolein Speijer on November 17 in Voorthuizen. To mark the occasion, we were asked by Gert's friend Jeff DeCoe to make an embossed organ pipe as a wedding gift. It was crafted from 80 per cent tin by Terry Doyle and the inscription was by Terry Shires. We offer our congratulations to the couple

My most sincere congratulations young guys. I´ve been following Gert´s videos for some years now, watching his progress and maturation. Now you´ve gotten married on the exact date my wife and I did nearly 28 years ago!!
Cheers and best hapiness wishes for both.

I love pipe organ music, and I greatly appreciate your level of expertise and musicianship. I am a (poor) amateur pianist myself, and when I took an organ lesson we never got to the feet, because our organist had to train me in proper finger release when one does not have the cover of a sustain pedal. I shall follow your career with interest.
