We were delighted to be commissioned by Nicholson & Co to replicate original flue pipes made for Gloucester Cathedral in the mid-17th century.

The pipes in question were made by Thomas Harris, father of the celebrated organ builder Renatus Harris.

The stop is the Chaire Open Diapson 8' from A22.

The original pipes date from 1666 and we were excited to copy and use techniques that wouldn't have changed much over the last 350 years.

The pipes have been made in our Leeds workshop from 80% tin.
